🌺 Beginner Program

6 Weeks to Find Your Rhythm

This program is designed to take you from “I feel lost” to “I can follow and enjoy the class.”

Each week, you focus on one key movement while building what really matters:
👉 rhythm, coordination, and control

You will see other movements during the sessions — that’s normal.
Don’t try to learn everything at once.

Focus on your weekly priority. Let the rest come naturally.


Start with Part 1.
When it starts to feel familiar, stay a little longer.


🗓️ Your 6-Week Plan


 

Week 1 — Find the Rhythm + Taʻiri Tamau

Your only goal: connect to the beat and move

✨ This is your foundation week.

Do:

  • 2 × OTF Part 1 only

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: Taʻiri Tamau

👉 Stop at the first water break. That’s your session.


Week 2 — Build Your Base + Fa’arapu

Now we introduce circular motion.

💡 It might feel messy. That’s normal.

Do:

  • 2 × OTF Part 1 only

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: Fa’arapu


Week 3 — Control & Direction + Varu

You start gaining control.

👉 This is where things begin to click.

Do:

  • 1–2 × OTF Part 1

  • OPTIONAL: stay for Part 2 if you feel ready

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: Varu


Week 4 — Coordination + Tumami

Now your brain and body must work together.

🔥 Expect challenge. That’s growth.

Do:

  • 1 × OTF Part 1

  • 1 × OTF Part 1 + Part 2 (if ready)

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: Tumami


Week 5 — Stability + ʻŌpe (In Place)

We build strength and control.

💪 Less speed, more precision.

Do:

  • 1 × OTF Part 1

  • 1 × OTF Part 1 + Part 2

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: ʻŌpe


Week 6 — Grounding + ʻĀfata (In Place)

You’re no longer a beginner.

✨ Now we anchor everything.

Do:

  • 1 × OTF Part 1 + Part 2

  • OPTIONAL: explore a little more if you feel strong

  • 1 × Happy Wednesday

  • Technique Library: ʻĀfata
